“My background in learning disability services taught me that everyone deserves patient, respectful care—and that with the right support, people can achieve far more than others might expect.”

Leah covers the Verwood, Totton, and Fordingbridge areas, bringing a unique combination of neurological expertise and experience working with people who have complex needs. Her background in learning disability services gives her exceptional patience and communication skills.

NHS Experience

Leah graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and has gained extensive experience working within the NHS in Community Care, Neurological Rehabilitation, and Learning Disability Services. This breadth of experience means she’s comfortable adapting her approach to suit each individual client.

Leadership in SEND Settings

Before joining Medella, Leah spent six years as a Therapy Service Lead in Specialist Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) settings, working with children and young adults with complex additional needs. This leadership experience honed her ability to coordinate care, work with families, and advocate for her clients.
