For Solicitors & Insurers
Specialist Rehabilitation for Solicitors & Insurers
Treating Therapist services for personal injury and clinical negligence cases. We provide Rehabilitation Code 2015 compliant home-based physiotherapy and occupational therapy across Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire — with rapid access, clear reporting, and measurable outcomes.
Your Partner in Rehabilitation & Recovery
Medella operates strictly as a Treating Therapist, not as an expert witness. This distinction matters: our sole focus is your client's rehabilitation, avoiding any conflict of interest. We work within the 2015 Rehabilitation Code, ensuring that all treatment and reporting meets the standards expected by courts, insurers, and solicitors.
Whether you represent the claimant or the defendant, we provide impartial, clinically focused rehabilitation that supports your client's recovery and your case.
Rapid Access
Initial assessment within 5 working days of instruction. Early intervention improves clinical outcomes and demonstrates proactive rehabilitation to the court.
Clinical Clarity
Data-driven reports using standardised outcome measures. Every report includes baseline data, SMART goals, and progress tracking that stands up to scrutiny.
Home-Based Reality
All treatment is delivered in your client's home. We assess function in their real environment, providing observations that are directly relevant to the claim.
Our Services for Legal Professionals
Structured rehabilitation services designed to support personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
INA Support
We provide detailed physiotherapy and occupational therapy clinical appendices for Immediate Needs Assessment reports. Our assessments support early identification of rehabilitation needs and help establish appropriate treatment timelines and costings.
Rehabilitation Code Compliant Treatment
All treatment is delivered in accordance with the 2015 Rehabilitation Code. We set SMART goals using Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) and provide measurable, evidence-based rehabilitation that demonstrates clear progress.
Standardised Clinical Reporting
We provide structured reports at each stage of rehabilitation: Initial Assessment Reports with baseline measures, Interim Progress Reports tracking goal attainment, and Discharge Summaries with final outcomes and recommendations.
Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
For clients with complex injuries, we offer combined physiotherapy and occupational therapy under one provider. A single referral gives you access to an integrated team, reducing administrative burden and improving coordination of care.
Why Instruct Medella?
Local Expertise
A dedicated local team covering Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire. We know the region, the referral pathways, and the local healthcare landscape — not a national call centre dispatching unknown therapists.
Senior Clinicians Only
Every therapist on our team has a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience. You will not receive a newly qualified therapist — your client's case will be handled by an experienced, specialist clinician.
Administrative Ease
We handle scheduling, invoicing, and compliance so you do not have to. Clear communication, timely reports, and a single point of contact for all enquiries.
Enquire About Capacity & Instructions
Contact Naomi Patrick, Clinical Director, to discuss a new instruction, check current capacity, or ask about our reporting process. We respond to all professional enquiries within one working day.
