Our Home Visit Services

Medella provides private home physiotherapy and occupational therapy across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. Every service we offer is delivered in your own home — no clinics, no travel, no waiting rooms.

What makes us different is that we combine both physiotherapy and occupational therapy under one roof. This means your care is coordinated — your physio improves your movement and strength, while your OT ensures you can manage daily life safely and independently.

Physiotherapy

Our chartered physiotherapists specialise in restoring movement, reducing pain, and rebuilding strength — all through home visits. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or wanting to improve mobility, we bring expert treatment to your door.

Physiotherapy at home means we can assess how you move in your actual living space, create exercise programmes that use your own furniture and layout, and involve family members in your care. Your physio will work with you to set realistic goals and track your progress at every session.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists help you maintain independence in daily life — from getting dressed and using the bathroom safely to cooking meals and managing around your home. We focus on what matters most: enabling you to do the things that are important to you.

Home-based OT is especially effective because we assess your actual environment. We see your real stairs, your real bathroom, and your real kitchen — so our recommendations and equipment advice always fit your life. Where physio and OT are needed together, your care is coordinated between our team from the start.

Why Choose Home Visits?

All our physiotherapy and occupational therapy services are delivered in your own home. For many patients — particularly older adults recovering from illness, injury, or surgery — home-based treatment is more effective and far more convenient than travelling to a clinic.

Real-World Assessment

We see how you move in your actual living space — your stairs, your bathroom, your kitchen — so treatment fits your life.

No Travel Required

No taxis, no waiting rooms, no struggling to get to a clinic. We come to you at a time that suits your routine.

Family Involvement

Your family can be part of your sessions — learning exercises, asking questions, and understanding your progress first-hand.

Coordinated Care

With physio and OT under one roof, your treatment is joined up. No repeating your story or chasing separate referrals.

How It Works

Getting started with Medella is simple. Most patients are seen within a week of their first call — here's what to expect.

1

Get in Touch

Call us on 01425 490151 or complete our contact form. We'll have a brief conversation about your needs and arrange a convenient time for your first visit.

2

Initial Assessment

A physiotherapist or occupational therapist visits your home to conduct a thorough assessment, understand your daily challenges, and discuss your goals.

3

Treatment Plan

Together, we create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs, your home environment, and your goals. If both physio and OT are needed, we coordinate your care from the start.

4

Ongoing Care

Regular home visits with progress reviews. We adapt your treatment as you improve, and keep your family informed along the way.

Not Sure Which Service You Need?
